Sabre Circuits 2026
The RIPOSTA Sports Club is pleased to announce that the Sabre Circuits project will continue this year.
Sabre Circuits is a U14, U12, U10 competition with four stages:
- Bucharest
- Athens
- Sofia
- Istanbul
The top four players in each age category will qualify for the Masters, which will be held in Bucharest this season.

1. Riposta Cup Bucharest - Sabre Circuits 2026
The RIPOSTA Sports Club, in collaboration with the Romanian Fencing Federation, organized the Riposta Cup international competition on March 7-8, 2026, for the U14, U12, and U10 age categories, the first stage of the 2026 Sabre Circuits.
Young athletes representing eight countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Great Britain, USA, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Greece) participated in the competition.
Details about the competition
- Venue: Sport Hall Universiity of Agronomic Sciences And Veterinary Medicine,59 Mărăști Boulevard, Bucharest
- Age categories: U14 (athletes born in 2012 and younger), U12 (athletes born in 2014 and younger), U10 (athletes born in 2016 and younger)
- Awards: The top 8 finishers in each age category will receive awards.

Saturday, March 7, 2026:
- 9 AM – Start of U10 boys’ sabre competition
- 11 AM – Start of U12 girls’ sabre competition
- 2 PM – Start of U14 boys’ sabre competition
- 5 PM – Final 4 – U12 girls’ sabre & U14 boys’ sabre
Sunday, March 8, 2026:
- 9 AM – Start of U10 girls’ sabre competition
- 11 AM – Start of U12 boys’ sabre competition
