Coaches
Club Riposta was born out of two people’s love of sport:
Constantin Sandu and Lucian Dina.
Constantin Sandu
President of Riposta Sports Club
For Sandu, the main objective as a club president and coach has been and still is to support young athletes in an environment of performance, sportsmanship, healthy for both body and mind.
Former colleagues and coached athletes know him as a positive and energetic person with a strong human and professional ethic, a clear vision and a genuine concern for the welfare of every member of the community.
“With every hour of training, with every competition we organize, through training camps or through the simple daily interaction with the little ones, we are sure that we support the Romanian fencing champions of tomorrow, but also that we offer society real values, strong personalities, successful people”, is Sandu’s credo.

As a coach, he was awarded in December 2020 by the Romanian Fencing Federation with the title of “Best Coach of the Year” in sabre, after the performance of Ilinca Pantiș, who won the bronze medal at the European Fencing Championship in Croatia.

- Winner of the Romanian Sport Awards in 2000 and 2006

Lucian Dina
Vicepresident of Riposta Sports Club
With over 20 years of international experience, fencing is Lucian’s true passion and he believes that education and training are the most powerful ways to pass it on to young people.
Lucian has dedicated over 2 decades to living and promoting the benefits and values of fencing and supporting both youth and adults in reaching their full potential in the sport.
Persevering and serious, he has the ability to work intensely with athletes while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere that is very important in the lower age groups.
