Sabre Circuits 2023-24
The RIPOSTA Sports Club is pleased to announce that the Sabre Circuits project is returning this year.
Sabre Circuits is a U14, U12, U10 competition with three stages:
- Bucharest
- Sofia
- Athens
The top 4 in the rankings for each age category will qualify for the Masters, which this season will be held in Sofia.

1. Riposta Cup Bucharest - Sabre Circuits 2023-24
The RIPOSTA Sports Club, in collaboration with the Romanian Fencing Federation, organized the Riposta Cup international competition on November 25-26, 2023, for the U14, U12, and U10 age categories, the first stage of the 2023 Sabre Circuits.
A total of 312 young athletes representing six countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Great Britain, Italy, and Greece) participated in the competition.
Competition details
- Venue: Sports Hall of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, 59 Mărăști Boulevard, Bucharest, Postal Code 011464
- Age categories: U14 (athletes born in 2010 or later), U12 (athletes born in 2012 or later), U10 (athletes born in 2014 or later)
- Awards: The top 8 finishers in each age category were awarded prizes.

- 11 AM – Start of U12 girls’ sabre competition
- 2 PM – Start of U14 boys’ sabre competition
